Registration

  1. This vehicle is sold used, without mechanical inspection, and may require unknown repairs.
  2. This was a Department of National Defence (DND) vehicle. It has never been registered provincially. There is no registration with this vehicle.

Inspection and Pickup

  1. Inspections are by appointment only on Thursday, September 29 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. To take an appointment, please send an email to Pierre-Yves.Tremblay@forces.gc.ca or contact Sgt Tremblay at 418 844-5000 ext. 8511. Visitors must park at the back of building 110 at CFB Valcartier in the designated area (visitor parking for purchase). Visitors without an appointment will be refused
  2. Appointments for pick-up are mandatory, no exceptions. A 24-hour notice is required.
  3. Pick-up appointments are available Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., excluding statutory holidays.
  4. To make a pick-up appointment please email Pierre-Yves.Tremblay@forces.gc.ca.
  5. Pick-ups are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Upon arrival for pick-up, visitors must park at the rear of Building 110, wait in their vehicle and call 418 844-5000 ext 8511 for further instructions.
  6. Walk-in buyers will be refused.
  7. The buyer must make all transportation arrangements and pay for any charges incurred.
  8. All carrier or third party pickups require a completed bill of lading and authorization to surrender the goods signed by the buyer and sent to Pierre-Yves.Tremblay@forces.gc.ca before sending the carrier or third party.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 3 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 3 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.

All sales are final. No purchased Goods may be returned and no requests for reimbursement in whole or in part will be accepted.

844.1

With the exception of authorized dealers and registered recyclers, vehicle ownership transfer must occur prior to the vehicle being released to the owner. This transfer must be completed by the owner, who will also be responsible for any and all mandatory vehicle inspections.

860.2

Buyers are advised to contact each asset custodian listed on the sale to determine what viewing and pick-up directions are in place as instructions may vary from location to location. The item(s) described herein are being sold offsite and not from a GCSurplus Sales Centre. For all offsite sales, Canada is responsible for making the sale items accessible for removal. They are under no obligation to provide assistance of any kind. It is the Purchaser's responsibility to ensure they have the proper labour and material handling equipment to facilitate the removal. Failure to comply with this condition of sale may lead to the Purchaser being turned away and the items and funds being forfeited.

It is the buyer's responsibility to contact the Canadian manufacturer and, if necessary, equipment manufacturer to find out whether any notices of defects or of non-compliance (more commonly known as "recalls") have been issued with regards to the vehicle.
