  • Quantity: 1 Tri-wall
  • Various makes and models included
  • Total weight: Approximately 1,440 lb including skids
  • Condition:
    • All batteries are spent or cannot consistently hold a charge and are being sold for scrap.
Additional comments:
  1. Pick-ups will be contactless. Visitors will not be permitted entry to the facility
  2. Removal by appointment only: Mondays to Fridays between 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  3. Shipping is an option; shipping dimensions and weight will be provided and the winning bidder is required to provide us via email a prepaid bill of lading from the courier of their choice.
  4. The winning bidder is also required to schedule the pick-up with their courier on one of days as mentioned above.
  5. The Purchaser shall comply with all standards set out in the Act on Transport of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and any other provincial or federal regulation for handling, packaging and shipping prior to the batteries being released. http://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/tdg/safety-menu.htm
  6. The Purchaser will provide all required placards to be placed on the vehicle being used to transport the batteries.
  7. The on-site custodian must approve the transport arrangements and may request to view the ERAP (if required) or other documentation before loading takes place. If the custodian is in doubt about the safety of the loading or transport, the Purchaser may be turned away. It is strongly suggested that the Purchaser contact the custodian with their documentation beforehand so as not to delay or postpone loading.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 3 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 5 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.

Buyers are advised to contact each asset custodian listed on the sale to determine what viewing and pick-up directions are in place as instructions may vary from location to location. The item(s) described herein are being sold offsite and not from a GCSurplus Sales Centre. For all offsite sales, Canada is responsible for making the sale items accessible for removal. They are under no obligation to provide assistance of any kind. It is the Purchaser's responsibility to ensure they have the proper labour and material handling equipment to facilitate the removal. Failure to comply with this condition of sale may lead to the Purchaser being turned away and the items and funds being forfeited.
