Observations:

  • Both All-Terrain vehicles are in poor condition and being sold for parts only.
  • Neither vehicle starts and they both require engine repairs.
  • These vehicles have not been in use for several years and have been stored outside.
  • Both vehicles have some flat tires.
  • Both vehicles have cracked, damaged or missing parts.
  • Scratches, scuffs, paint chips, dents and rust are present on vehicle exteriors.
  • Viewing is recommended prior to placing a bid.
  • The purchaser must supply all transport, labour and equipment to perform the removal of the assets.
  • No assistance will be provided in loading the vehicles.
  • We have no history regarding the overall condition.

Additional comments:

Inspection and Pick-up:

  1. Shipping is not available.
  2. Purchaser must supply all labour and equipment for removal.
  3. Appointments must be made for pick-ups at least 24 hours in advance.
  4. Appointments for pick-ups are available Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., excluding statutory holidays.
  5. The purchaser or their authorized person/company must bring the Authority to Release with them at the time of the pick-up.
  6. All pallets and containers are the property of Parks Canada and may be retained by the Parks Canada upon pick-up by the buyer.
  7. Certain requirements exist for removal by transport companies. Contact Wendey Terendy prior to bidding to ensure 3rd party removal instructions are understood.
  8. All pick-ups by a third party or transport require written authorization from the Buyer emailed to emilie.goulet@pc.gc.ca prior to sending the third party or transport. Failure to do so may result in your item(s) not being released.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 3 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 5 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.

The Purchaser must also pay particular attention to the following clauses.

832.1

All sales are final. No purchased Goods may be returned and no requests for reimbursement in whole or in part will be accepted.

844.1

With the exception of authorized dealers and registered recyclers, vehicle ownership transfer must occur prior to the vehicle being released to the owner. This transfer must be completed by the owner, who will also be responsible for any and all mandatory vehicle inspections.

860.2

Buyers are advised to contact each asset custodian listed on the sale to determine what viewing and pick-up directions are in place as instructions may vary from location to location. The item(s) described herein are being sold offsite and not from a GCSurplus Sales Centre. For all offsite sales, Canada is responsible for making the sale items accessible for removal. They are under no obligation to provide assistance of any kind. It is the Purchaser's responsibility to ensure they have the proper labour and material handling equipment to facilitate the removal. Failure to comply with this condition of sale may lead to the Purchaser being turned away and the items and funds being forfeited.

It is the buyer's responsibility to contact the Canadian manufacturer and, if necessary, equipment manufacturer to find out whether any notices of defects or of non-compliance (more commonly known as "recalls") have been issued with regards to the vehicle.
