  • Rear lights were not tested by GCSurplus, their functionality is unknown.
  • The client department stated that the lifetime usage is actually 71,000 km. Odometer may show an incorrect number due to change in odometer hubs.
  • Left barn door seal will require replacement.
  • Frame and bars will require servicing.
  • Side curtains have not been tested due to the inability to fully open the rear doors.
  • Reflectors are pealing off due to rust on rear bumper.
  • Roof was unable to be inspected by the divestment officer.
  • 10 cm wide rip observed on right section.
  • Interior has tears and rips on the ceiling.
  • Rubber trim is pealing from rear doors and side sections of trailer.
  • Trailer is dirty and may require cleaning.

  • Note 1: This trailer is sold used without professional mechanical inspection; it may require additional unknown repairs other than those listed by the divestment officer. GCSurplus is not liable for any repair cost the trailer may require after purchase. Viewing is highly recommended.
  • Note 2: We are unable to place the trailer on a hoist, the undercarriage was not visually inspected.
Additional comments:

This was a Federal Government fleet trailer.

  1. Appointments for pick-ups are mandatory and must be arranged 24 hours in advance. No drop-ins will be accepted.
  2. The contact listed is the first point of contact but if this person cannot be reached, please contact the divestment officer. For urgent matters, you can also contact the NCR sales centre by phone at 343-548-9641 or by email at Info@GCSurplus.ca.
  3. Appointments to view and pick-up are mandatory, no exceptions.
  4. The purchaser must contact the custodian and make an appointment for a specific date and time so they can meet onsite. Any appointment cancellation must be done in the 24 hours prior to the appointment date.
  5. Inspection and pick-ups are done during the weekdays from Monday to Friday. The exact time has to be discussed with the custodian.
  6. Purchasers who arrive unprepared may be refused.

Important:

  1. As indicated in the Clause 844.1, with the exception of authorized dealers and registered recyclers, trailer ownership transfer must occur prior to the trailer being released to the owner. This transfer must be completed by the owner, who will also be responsible for any and all mandatory trailer inspections.
  2. Authorized dealers must provide a photocopy of their dealer's licence as proof before we release the trailer, the document must be sent by email to the divestment officer.
  3. If the buyer wishes to send a transporter or someone else to pick up on their behalf, he must give a 24-hour notice to the divestment officer by email with the company name or the full name of the person that will be picking up on their behalf.
  4. Transporter can call should there be a need regarding logistics, etc. However, the first point of confirmation of the pick-up is to be made by the buyer.
  5. Invoices and Bill of Sales cannot be modified for any reasons. We highly recommend that buyers update their account information before bidding on trailers.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 3 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 5 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.
