Pick-up instructions:

  1. A site visit by the bidder is recommended to ensure the bidder can assess what equipment will be required to securely and safely transport the material from its current location to the loading dock and then to truck.
  2. Pick-up dates and times must be confirmed with at least 48 hours in advance. Pick-ups without advance notice will not be accepted.
  3. Pick-up appointments must be booked within the following schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (statutory holidays excluded).
  4. The buyer is responsible for moving the purchased materiel from its current location to the loading dock and onto their truck. As such, the buyer must bring its own equipment, tools, and labour to complete the move. Any personnel designated by the bidder to affect the transfer of the purchased materiel to the loading dock and truck must have CSA approved safety work boots and high visibility traffic vest. It is the responsibilities of the buyer to come prepared on the date and time of the pick-up appointment. If the buyer is deemed unprepared, the National Depot logistics agent has the authority to refuse the pick-up, reschedule the appointment and report to GCSurplus.
  5. The buyer must pick-up the entire lot as advertised in the sale post. The National Depot logistics agent has the authority to indicate to the buyer in what order materiel must be removed.
  6. The entire lot must be removed within 10 business days following the closing of the sale.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 3 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 3 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.

Buyers are advised to contact each asset custodian listed on the sale to determine what viewing and pick-up directions are in place as instructions may vary from location to location. The item(s) described herein are being sold offsite and not from a GCSurplus Sales Centre. For all offsite sales, Canada is responsible for making the sale items accessible for removal. They are under no obligation to provide assistance of any kind. It is the Purchaser's responsibility to ensure they have the proper labour and material handling equipment to facilitate the removal. Failure to comply with this condition of sale may lead to the Purchaser being turned away and the items and funds being forfeited.
