Additional comments:
  1. Appointments for pick-ups are mandatory and must be arranged 48 hours in advance.
  2. No drop-ins will be accepted.
  3. Safety shoes/boots must be worn in the warehouse.
  4. Appointments can only be arranged from Monday to Thursday, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., except Friday and holidays.
  5. To be granted access to the facility, the purchaser must comply with the security requirements put in place for COVID-19, which includes wearing a face mask.
  6. Please note that all buyers will need to provide a valid photo ID when picking up in person. If the purchaser wishes to send someone to pick up on their behalf, they must send an email to the custodian giving permission to release the item. Failure to do so may result in your asset not being released.
  7. Purchasers must come equipped and prepared with proper equipment to pick up the lot from this location, for example dollies, carts, vehicles or trucks, as well as proper amount of staff and help for the pick-up.
  8. Purchasers who arrive unprepared will be refused.
  9. If the purchaser wants to send a transport company or a courier to pick up on their behalf, we can provide the weight and dimensions of the item/lot upon request, but it is the purchaser's responsibility to arrange for shipping.
  10. Custodian does not fill out waybills (Bill of Ladings) and does not allow "Collect" shipment, only prepaid shipping will be authorized. It is the purchaser's responsibility to send a prepaid and prefilled waybill (Bill of Lading) to the custodian prior to sending the transporter or courier for pick-up. Custodian will not release the item/lot to the transporter or courier until the correct documentation is provided.
  11. Please note that we will do our best to secure the item/lot on a skid or box but we will not be liable for any damages resulting from this courtesy service.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 3 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 5 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.

The item(s) described herein are being sold offsite and not from a GCSurplus Sales Centre. For all offsite sales, Canada is responsible for making the sale items accessible for removal. They are under no obligation to provide assistance of any kind. It is the Purchaser's responsibility to ensure they have the proper labour and material handling equipment to facilitate the removal. Failure to comply with this condition of sale may lead to the Purchaser being turned away and the items and funds being forfeited.
