Pick-up Instructions:

  1. Viewing is not available.
  2. Pick-up of awarded assets by appointment only. Appointments are available from Mondays to Fridays, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., excluding statutory holidays.
  3. Pick-up must be arranged 2 business days in advance.
  4. Buyers must supply all labour and equipment for the pick-up from location, including carts, labour, dollies and vehicles.
  5. Please provide the name, contact phone number, proposed pick-up date and time and description of items to pick up.
  6. AB-NWT Client Services will be in contact with you to discuss further requirements and to confirm the pick-up date.
  7. For large and heavy items:
    • Items must be picked up from Canada Place loading dock. Access by 102 Avenue.
    • Work permit is required. While booking a pick-up appointment, buyer is asked to provide proposed pick-up date and time, and vehicle description to complete the required work permit. Please provide the vehicle's make, model, colour, and licence plate.
  8. The buyer or their authorized person/company must bring the Authority to Release with them at the time of the pick-up.
  9. All pick-ups by a third party or transport company require written authorization from the buyer emailed to mollie.jarvis@hc-sc.gc.ca prior to sending the third party or transport. Failure to do so may result in your item(s) not being released.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 3 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 5 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.

Buyers are advised to contact each asset custodian listed on the sale to determine what viewing and pick-up directions are in place as instructions may vary from location to location. The item(s) described herein are being sold offsite and not from a GCSurplus Sales Centre. For all offsite sales, Canada is responsible for making the sale items accessible for removal. They are under no obligation to provide assistance of any kind. It is the Purchaser's responsibility to ensure they have the proper labour and material handling equipment to facilitate the removal. Failure to comply with this condition of sale may lead to the Purchaser being turned away and the items and funds being forfeited.
