  • Vehicle requires a boost: 12 V battery does not hold a charge and requires replacement.
  • The braking system is malfunctioning and does not work. Vehicle will be required to be towed out of the lot.
  • The following vehicle error codes appear:

    • Service Stabilitrak
  • Front right turn signal requires replacement.
  • Driver sun visor holder is missing.
  • Hole in overhead compartment, console controls have been removed.
  • Cargo area light is unserviceable and will require replacement.

  • Windshield wiper blades are damaged.
  • Ceiling lining is partially disconnected over passenger-side section.
  • Vehicle is dirty and may require cleaning.
  • Drilled holes observed on the dashboard.
  • AC outlet observed on the driver's side of the vehicle. Its serviceability is unknown.
  • Vehicle brand logo in front of the grill is missing.

  • Note 1: This vehicle is sold used without professional mechanical inspection; it may require additional unknown repairs other than those listed by the divestment officer. GCSurplus is not liable for any repair cost the vehicle may require after purchase. Viewing is highly recommended.
  • Note 2: All GCSurplus vehicles start and drive unless specified otherwise in the known issues above.
  • Note 3: Please be aware that some vehicles have been stationary for unknown periods of time, and although the vehicle may initially start on arrival with or without a boost, it may require a boost or battery replacement at the time of possession at the buyer's cost.
  • Note 4: We are unable to place the vehicle on a hoist, the undercarriage was not visually inspected.
Additional comments:

This was a Federal Government fleet vehicle.

  1. Appointments for inspections and pick-ups are mandatory and must be arranged 24 hours in advance. No drop-ins will be accepted.
  2. Appointments can only be arranged Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., except on holidays.
  3. Please note that the warehouse is not open on a daily basis for inspections.
  4. Please note that all buyers will need to provide a valid photo ID when picking up in person. If the buyer wishes to send someone to pick up on their behalf, they must send an email to the divestment officer giving permission to release the item. Failure to do so may result in your asset not being released.
  5. The divestment officer is the first point of contact for this sale, but if you are unable to contact them, you can reach the NCR Sales Centre by phone at 343-548-9641 or by email at Info@GCSurplus.ca for urgent matters.

Important:

  1. As indicated in the Clause 844.1, with the exception of authorized dealers and registered recyclers, vehicle ownership transfer must occur prior to the vehicle being released to the owner. This transfer must be completed by the owner, who will also be responsible for any and all mandatory vehicle inspections.
  2. Authorized dealers must provide a photocopy of their dealer licence as proof before we release the vehicle, the document must be sent by email to the divestment officer.
  3. If the buyer wishes to send a transporter or someone else to pick up on their behalf, he must give a 24-hour notice to the divestment officer by email with the company name or the full name of the person that will be picking up on their behalf.
  4. Transporter can call should there be a need regarding logistics, etc. However, the first point of confirmation of the pick-up is to be made by the buyer.
  5. Invoices and Bill of Sales cannot be modified for any reasons. We highly recommend that buyers update their account information before bidding on vehicles.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 5 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 5 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.
