  • The window trim on the front of vehicle is missing.
  • The windshield is chipped and pitted.
  • The exterior of the vehicle has scratches, scuffs, dents, rusts, and paint chips.
  • The vehicle may require a boost to start, but it runs.
  • The vehicle is sold used without mechanical inspection; it may require unknown repairs.
  • We have no history regarding the overall condition of the vehicle.

Viewing and Pick-up:

  1. Appointments for viewings and pick-ups must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

  4. The buyer is responsible for making all transportation arrangements and for all costs incurred.
  5. All pick-ups by a third party or transport company require a written authorization from the buyer, emailed to GCSurplus at TPSGC.gcsurplusedmonton.PWGSC@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca, prior to sending the third party or transport company. Transport pick-ups also require a completed bill of lading emailed prior to the pick-up.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 3 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 5 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.

With the exception of authorized dealers and registered recyclers, vehicle ownership transfer must occur prior to the vehicle being released to the owner. This transfer must be completed by the owner, who will also be responsible for any and all mandatory vehicle inspections.

It is the buyer's responsibility to contact the Canadian manufacturer and, if necessary, equipment manufacturer to find out whether any notices of defects or of non-compliance (more commonly known as "recalls") have been issued with regards to the vehicle.
