Registration

1. This vehicle was owned and operated by the Government of Canada and was previously registered in British Columbia.
2. APV9T Transfer and Registration are located at GCSurplus Langley Sales Centre Office (5370 - 271st Street, Langley, B.C. V4W 3Y7).
   • APV9T & registrations will be mailed to the Buyer, once they contact us for required information.
3. As indicated in the Clause 844.1, with the exception of authorized dealers and registered recyclers, vehicle ownership transfer must occur prior to the vehicle being released to the owner. This transfer must be completed by the owner, who will also be responsible for any and all mandatory vehicle inspections.
4. Authorized dealers must provide a photocopy of their dealer licence as proof before we release the vehicle, the document must be sent by email to the sales representative.
5. Invoices and Bills of Lading cannot be modified for any reason. Bidders should ensure that the individual or business name on their account is the same information they wish to register the vehicle under before placing a bid.

Viewing and Pick-up

1. A Temporary Operating Permit (TOP) purchased in the province of B.C., displaying the VIN is required for out-of-province (B.C.) buyers picking up and driving the vehicle.
2. Viewing and pick-ups are by appointment only, from Monday to Friday except statutory holidays, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Buyers who do not have an appointment will be refused access to the site.
3. This vehicle may need to be towed from the site, if necessary. See the sale's description for more details.
4. If the buyer wishes to send a transport company or a third party to pick up the vehicle, a signed Authority to release must be sent to marty.mcquillin@dfo-mpo.gc.ca. Certain requirements exist for removal by transport companies.
