Known issues:

  • The vehicle has scratches, dents, paint chips and rust.
  • The tailgate door is a different colour than rest of vehicle.
  • Check engine message: P0446 7E8 generic evaporative emission system vent control circuit x2
  • Cargo light behind back windshield cracked.
  • Cargo area is rusted and scratched.
  • Front bumper dented and missing bottom plastic trim.
  • Steel wheels and bottom structure of vehicle is extremely rusted.
  • Cracked plastic trim under wipers.
  • Cracked windshield.
  • Top of the windshield seal is broken.
  • Two front seats are torn.
  • Interior floor, ceiling, doors, walls, steering wheel and dashboard are very dirty.
  • Bottom edge of the two front doors are rusted and have paint chips.
  • Rear windshield equipped with guard "back rack"
  • Condensation on both rear lights.
  • Noisy engine when the vehicle is running.
  • Body damage and heavy rust on front left and right quarter panel (lower at wheel fender) and on the rear right quarter panel.
  • Surface rust below the gas cap, quarter panels, fenders and doors.
  • Vehicle was removed from service in the spring of 2024.
  • Rear roof light is cracked/broken.
  • Vehicle may require unknown amount of repairs for future plating and registration.
  • This vehicle may be useful for parts, the engine is known for spark plug issues and can be of some value.

  • Note 1: This vehicle is sold used without professional mechanical inspection; it may require additional unknown repairs other than those listed by the divestment representative. GCSurplus is not liable for any repair cost the vehicle may require after purchase. Viewing is highly recommended.
  • Note 2: All GCSurplus vehicles start and drive unless specified otherwise in the known issues above.
  • Note 3: Please be aware that some vehicles have been stationary for unknown periods of time, and although the vehicle may initially start on arrival with or without a boost, it may require a boost or battery replacement at the time of possession at the buyer's cost.
  • Note 4: We are unable to place the vehicle on a hoist, the undercarriage was not visually inspected.
Additional comments:

This was a Federal Government fleet vehicle.

  1. Appointments for inspections and pick-ups are mandatory and must be arranged 24 hours in advance. No drop-ins will be accepted.
  2. Appointments can only be arranged Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., except on holidays.
  3. Please note that the warehouse is not open on a daily basis for inspections.
  4. Please note that all buyers will need to provide a valid photo ID when picking up in person. If the buyer wishes to send someone to pick up on their behalf, they must send an email to the sales representative giving permission to release the item. Failure to do so may result in your asset not being released.

Important:

  1. As indicated in the Clause 844.1, with the exception of authorized dealers and registered recyclers, vehicle ownership transfer must occur prior to the vehicle being released to the owner. This transfer must be completed by the owner, who will also be responsible for any and all mandatory vehicle inspections.
  2. Authorized dealers must provide a photocopy of their dealer licence as proof before we release the vehicle, the document must be sent by email to the sales representative.
  3. If the buyer wishes to send a transporter or someone else to pick up on their behalf, he must give a 24-hour notice to the sales representative by email with the company name or the full name of the person that will be picking up on their behalf.
  4. Transporter can call should there be a need regarding logistics, etc. However, first point of confirmation of pick-up is to be made by the buyer.
  5. Invoices & Bill of Sales cannot be modified for any reasons. We highly recommend that buyers update their account information before bidding on vehicles.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 5 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 5 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.
