  • Client department declared that these units are untested and in unknown condition.
  • This lot is used and being sold in as-is condition. One or more items may require unknown repairs or cleaning. They may also have superficial damages or be missing parts, accessories and hardware.
  • The sale does not include any accessories (remotes, power cables, etc.).

  • A site visit prior to bidding can be arranged. The bidder is responsible for submitting their bid prior to the closing date stated on the sale post.
  • Pickup dates and times must be confirmed with at least 48 hours in advance as a work permit must be issued, and the loading dock and freight elevator must be reserved. Pickups without advance notice will not be accepted.
  • Pickups must be completed during the following hours: 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • The buyer's vehicle must be parked by the loading bay located at the back of the building.
  • The lot is located on P2, there is an elevator if needed.
  • The buyer must pickup the entire lot as advertised in the sale post. The Asset Management Specialist has the authority to indicate to the buyer in what order materiel must be removed.
  • The entire lot must be removed in the minimum number of trips possible and within 10 business days following the closing of the sale.
  • .The lot is located in a secured building. Valid government issued identification must be presented by all people entering the premises.

  3. Appointments to view and pick-up are mandatory, no exceptions.
  4. The Purchaser must contact the custodian and make an appointment for a specific date and time so they can meet onsite. Any appointment cancellation must be done in the 24 hours prior to the appointment date.
  5. Inspection and pick-ups are done during the weekdays from Monday to Friday. The exact time has to be discussed with the custodian.
  6. The entire lot must be picked up in a single trip or within a reasonable amount of time, determined by the custodian.
  7. Purchaser must come equipped and prepared with proper equipment to pick up the lot from the building, for example dollies, carts, vehicles or trucks, as well as proper amount of staff/help for the move.
  8. Purchasers who arrive unprepared may be refused.

Payment and Removal
Payment:
The Purchaser agrees to make any payment requested (see available payment options) by the Minister within 3 business days from the date of such request and prior to removal of any of the property.
 
Removal:
The Purchaser, upon acceptance of this offer by the Minister and after payment in full has been received by the Minister, shall at their expense, pack, load and remove the property by the date indicated on the bill of sale or, if no date is shown, within 5 business days after the date the bill of sale is issued.

Buyers are advised to contact each asset custodian listed on the sale to determine what viewing and pick-up directions are in place as instructions may vary from location to location. The item(s) described herein are being sold offsite and not from a GCSurplus Sales Centre. For all offsite sales, Canada is responsible for making the sale items accessible for removal. They are under no obligation to provide assistance of any kind. It is the Purchaser's responsibility to ensure they have the proper labour and material handling equipment to facilitate the removal. Failure to comply with this condition of sale may lead to the Purchaser being turned away and the items and funds being forfeited.
