Vehicle Registration - Ex-Department of National Defence Vehicle

1. This vehicle has never been previously registered in Canada.
2. The buyer will receive a signed Transfer Form (APV9T), a Bill of Sale and a letter stating "Certification of vehicle ownership for BC registration."
   • All documents will be mailed to the Buyer, once they contact us for required information.
   • A provincial vehicle safety inspection will need to be performed prior to registration.
3. Be sure to bid under the name that will appear on the registration.
4. If this is a company purchase, register your company with GC Surplus and be sure to bid under the company's name.

1. This vehicle is sold used, without mechanical inspection and may require unknown repairs.

3. Pick-up:
   • Appointments to pick up are mandatory, no exceptions.
   • Buyers without appointments will be turned away.
4. Pick-up times are Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., except on holidays.
5. The buyer is responsible for making all transportation arrangements and for all costs incurred.
6. Pick-up only by Buyer or authorized third party.
   • All pick-ups by a third party require a signed Authority to Release and written notation of the person or company authorized to pickup on their behalf, to be sent to the "Contact" listed in the sale prior to releasing. If sending a Transport Company a completed Bill of Lading is also required to be sent to the "Contact."
7. This vehicle will need to be towed from site (on flat bed or tow truck) or a Temporary Operating Permit (TOP) purchased in the province of B.C., displaying the VIN is required.
